This program aims to train journalism and communication students to report on the material and non-material heritage of Central and Eastern Europe. During the six days of the BIP, students will be introduced to the diverse aspects of multiculturalism in Poland (architecture, language, and local traditions).
Participants will explore how digital tools can be used to revive and add news value to stories about Poland’s history and its present-day multicultural environment. During the second half of the week, mixed groups of students will document and produce their own visual and textual stories on specific topics reflecting the rich multicultural heritage of the region.
Stories made during the first edition can be found here: https://ceeheritage.ro/
